MONOGRAPHY - THREE YEARS OF CAMPO IMPERATORE

Informations

Campo Imperatore is a mountain grassland formed by a high basin shaped plateau located near L'Aquila in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The plateau, which is 15  km in length and an average of 5 km in width, has altitude ranges from 1500 to 2100 meters. It's part of the National Park of Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga. Also known as "little Tibet" for a similar topology in little scale, in winter is full of snow and reaches low temperatures as -25 °C. You can see eagles, falcons and many other wild mountain birds. In this monography I propose some photos shooted in the period 2006-2008.
