The artist

Alessandro Terzi was born in Rome on 28 June 1971. His passion for photography began in 1992, when he started using his father's reflex camera, working with both colour and black and white film. Driven by his love for mountains and nature, he gradually developed a personal photographic vision focused on landscape and wildlife photography, aiming to share the emotions experienced while exploring wild environments.

After years of working with film cameras he embraced digital photography in 2006, developing his own workflow from RAW capture to final print. In 2007 he created this website to share his images with the international photography community and began exploring European parks and natural reserves. Over the years, Alessandro has presented several exhibitions and since 2009 he started collaborating with publishers and magazines such as LEM ART, Oasis, La Repubblica and LEGAMI, producing calendars, publications and photographic projects.

A member of LIPU since 2009, he has received recognition in international nature photography competitions and has been involved in teaching nature photography. In 2014 he founded the photographic group Nature In Frame, and in 2016 he launched the Nature Details Group project together with other Italian nature photographers. His main inspiration comes from the wild landscapes of Northern Europe, especially the Scottish Highlands and Norwegian mountains, where he continues to search for unique encounters with wildlife and powerful landscape compositions.
